• Generally, city, county, and state governments are immune from being sued; however, such governmental units can be sued in the following situations when you have suffered injuries due to: a sidewalk or highway defect, the negligent driving of a governmental vehicle, a public building defect, or due to the gross negligence of an individual government employee.

  • If you were injured due to one of the above reasons, you should contact our office immediately as in several instances you are required to file a notice of injury with the government in a short amount of time or risk losing your ability to sue altogether!

  • In some cases you must provide notice to the government within 60 days!
